With the recent acquisition of a towing winch funded by NSWHPA and shared between us and the Blue Mountains Soaring Club, planning is underway for a Fly Sydney Club Tow Safari in May this year.
The opportunity of winching expands our paragliding opportunities to travel to other inland locations and take to the skies without a soaring ridge or high launch.
We will be having a towing focused club meeting in April to discuss pilot tow endorsement, towing operations and opportunities for flights.
